Anaheim Hip-Hop Crew visits teen drug treatment center in Lake View Terrace, CA. The S.O.G. Crew (Thump RecordsUniversal Music Group) and Gospel Hip-Hop artist Jesus Riche from Victory Outreach of Eagle Rock pay a visit to the teens at Phoenix House Lake View Terrace.

“A special thanks to Julie Nobles for inviting The S.O.G. Crew to perform for the teens at Phoenix House. We were blessed to hang out with the young men and the few ladies for an intimate Hip-Hop concert and worship service.

The S.O.G. Crew has worked with Phoenix House for over fifteen years beginning at the Santa Ana Center off Fruit Street bringing encouragement to the youngsters battling issues of drug addiction. We are extremely honored to share that we have visited the Phoenix House Lake View Terrace in Los Angeles every year for Christmas thanks to our longtime partner Gerald Benjamin.

I almost said no to Chaplain Julie Nobles because The S.O.G. Crew was already scheduled to perform that morning at Dorothy Kirby Juvenile Detention Center thanks to Los Angeles County Probation Department and Chaplain Ruben Rubalcava for their Cinco de Mayo Car Show and Concert in the City of Commerce, CA. When I heard the event was going to be at Phoenix House Lake View Terrace I immediately said yes because of the years of visiting the kids for Christmas. I thought it was a good idea because we wanted to pay our respects to our partner Gerald Benjamin for always giving back to the kids during the holidays. Chaplain Julie Nobles and her team gave the kids at Phoenix House Lake View Terrace a Hip-Hop Concert with words of encouragement.

Grateful for the miracles that took place that day. We were blessed to lead young people to the Lord, rewarded after by letting a young man rip the microphone for the first time for Jesus without saying a cuss word, and one last thing. I would like to recognize Julie Nobles, Chaplain Ruben Rubalcava, the Los Angeles County Probation Department, and the Phoenix House Lake View Terrace for all working together to make sure the kids had a great Cinco de Mayo,” said Dr. Robert Ornelas

Established in 1994, Phoenix House Lake View Terrace is an evidence-based residential treatment program for 110 teenagers ages 13-18 affected by addiction and/or mental health disorders. Residents attend a fully-accredited on-site high school while receiving comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction treatment services, including: individual and group counseling (mental health, substance use disorder, trauma, and anger management); family therapy (parent education, group counseling); art therapy; cultural and recreational activities; and a broad range of life skills training. The center’s extensive grounds feature two-person bedrooms, classrooms, sports facilities, gyms, and a computer lab.

Substance abuse may be a difficult struggle, but it can and must be addressed with rehabilitation. The Phoenix House Academy Lake View Terrace rehab center can help addicts by supplying both Twelve Step and non-Twelve Step approaches addiction treatment. This rehab program excels in providing good services to local addicts.

The Phoenix House Academy Lake View Terrace is an excellent drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation center. More specifically, this rehab program, in particular, is an inpatient, residential, drug and alcohol addiction and dependence treatment center, detox facility, rehabilitation program, and recovery organization. This rehab program offers extensive detoxification for those who suffer from chemical dependence to drugs and alcohol. In addition to that, the rehab center works hard to engage its clients in a recovery program that addresses all of the many mental, psychological, personal, spiritual, and behavioral aspects of drug and alcohol addiction and substance abuse in general. The rehab center does all that and more, as addicts who go there can also avail themselves of an extensive and an involved aftercare program to continue to work on their substance abuse issues after they have completed their rehabilitation program.
